What is difference between Extended Warranty and Protection Plus Warranty?
Extended Warranty
- Can be retailed to customers within 0-365 days from the date of vehicle retail.
- Available in two options: 4+1 Year and 4+2 Year. Customers can choose the option as per their convenience.
- Policy renewal option is not available.
- No cooling period required.
- Point of Sale: Showroom + Workshop (till 365 days of DOS).
- Vehicle Fitness Certificate is NOT required.
Protection Plus Warranty
- Can be availed after the standard warranty has expired (0-2191 days). Can be purchased up to 5 years of vehicle age.
- Available in two options: 2 Year policy till 4th Year age vehicle, and 1 Year for the 5th Year. Customers can buy multiple policies at a time based on eligibility.
- Comes with a renewal option.
- Cooling period of 30 days from the date of policy issuance.
- Point of Sale: Workshop (after standard warranty).
- Vehicle Fitness Certificate is required.
Can I purchase the Protection Plus at the time of vehicle purchasing?
No, Anytime can be purchased after Standard warranty expiry.
I have already opted for extended warranty for 2 years, can I purchase the Protection Plus Warranty after 730 days of vehicle retail date?
No, since you are already having warranty coverage of 6 years. (4 years standard warranty +2year Extended warranty).
Can I purchase the Protection Plus Warranty as I have missed periodic services?
Yes, you can purchase the Protection Plus, But during purchase it is mandatory to have the vehicle fitness check/Maintenance service from authorized network during tenure of last 365 days.
What is the minimum cooling period for Protection Plus ?
30 days is the cooling period for claiming the Protection Plus benefits (claim can be entertained after 30 days of policy purchase)
I have the active 2 Year EW on my vehicle, In 5th year of vehicle, I purchased the Anytime Warranty, Does the cooling period applicable to Protection Plus ?
Yes, after purchase of Protection Plus, cooling period will commence immediately upto 30 Days.
I am existing customer having warranty coverage of 4 years, which package can I buy ?
Since you have warranty coverage of 4 years and your vehicle age is 4- you can buy Protection Plus Package of 4+2.
I am not having any Extended Warranty coverage packages, Can I purchase Protection Plus Warranty?
Since you are not having EW Coverage, you can purchase Protection Plus Warranty depending upon your vehicle age, vehicle fitness check and Periodic Service as per service schedule from authorised dealerships.
Is Periodic Service mandatory for Protection Plus Warranty purchasing?
Yes, Periodic Service is must to ensure Vehicle Fitness, Periodic service done during last 365 days from policy purchase date can be considered for vehicle fitness. However, dealer must check & confirm the fitness of vehicle before selling the policy to customer.
What is the Additional Km coverage for Protection Plus Warranty?
In Protection Plus Warranty, additional kms coverage is 12000Kms/Year.
- For 2 Year Policy it is 24000Kms.
- For 1 Year Policy it is 12000Kms.
Is there any maximum Km coverage capping for Protection Plus Warranty?
Yes, In Protection Plus Warranty Maximum Kilometre coverage capping done for motorcycle is 72,000Km for Protection Plus warranty claim.

We have 2 packages- 1 Year/ 100kms and 2 Years/ 100Kms.
What if my vehicle breakdown is beyond 100kms from dealership?
For 100kms you can avail free towing, for beyond 100 kms service will be chargeable basis per Km.
Whom do I need to contact in case of vehicle breakdown?
You can connect to customer toll-free number.
Is there any vehicle age limit?
Yes, vehicles till the age of 7 years old are eligible for roadside assistance.
What is the minimum cooling period for RSA activation?
Minimum cooling period is 3 days from date of purchase of RSA policy.
Is RSA coverage transferable if vehicle is sold?
Yes, RSA will be transferable to new owner with supporting documents.
AMC Package-FAQs
How are we profitable by selling AMC package?
While selling AMC dealer will get margin on the same as well as customer retention will be ensured from long term business and revenue generation point of view.
What is reimbursement process after attending AMC customer?
AMC Invoice will be generated in DMS and same as FSC, reconciliation will be done against the same.
Who will manage Pick up and Drop services?
Dealer to manage for pick up and drop- 5kms coverage from workshop.
Is AMC policy managed by CLPL or vendor?
AMC policy will be managed by CLPL.
Customer want to sell the vehicle, In that can he transfer AMC package to new owner?
Yes, dealer can transfer the package by attaching proof of RC copy.
Is there any criteria for buying AMC packages?
Sales package – Customer have to purchase it before 1st Free Service due.
Service package – Customer can buy it after 1st Free Service.
Is there any cooling period for AMC package activation?
No.
Upto what vehicle age can customer buy AMC package?
AMC Package available for all aged vehicles.
Can customer renew AMC package?
Yes, only service package can be renewed.
What all parts are covered in wear and tear parts?
In Platinum package only, Rear and Front Brake Pad and Drive chain kit are covered in wear and tear parts.
Is there any reimbursement policy in case of nonuse spares or skipped services?
No.
If Oil and part price changes who will bear the cost?
This is USP of Premium AMC Policy i.e Protection from Inflation for Customers. Cost to be borne by Dealer, customer need not to pay any additional amount if price may increase.
Are any additional charges included, that is to be paid by dealer Like software management?

Is there finance options available for AMC buying?
